Ok. So, after dragging my feet over blogging/scraping and all other dynamic content delivery, I went ahead and installed the blogging software on my website.
There were more than few choices for the blogging software available out there but I chose Nucleus CMS.
I thought about few things before I actually did that.
For example, there was ease of installation and setup obviously. Also, how easy it might be for a newbie like me to tweak the skins and templates so that blog outlook is consistent with my rest of website(come to think of it, its really tiny but I designed it around concept of simplicity and neatness).
To tell you the truth, the installation and setup was very easy and intuitive and I was ready with my first test post in less than couple of hours.
But, tweaking the setup to my taste took almost two days! I had to Google around a bit and also run to the Support Forum for nucleus (which btw, is excellent source of information along with its large FAQ collection)
So after all those teething troubles, this is the first post.
Of course, the ToDo list contains modifying the "Latest News" section to show the last post from "News" category.
I did play around with it but am unable to get it to work.
Hopefully, I will get around that little wrinkle soon.
All in all, learning the blogging software is as much fun as blogging it self!
